What is Global Week?

Global Week is a week-long celebration of Nottingham Trent University’s (NTU) rich cultural diversity, running from 25 February — 1 March 2019.

Throughout the week, the staff and students of NTU, Confetti and Nottingham Trent International College (NTIC) — alongside community partners from Nottingham and beyond — will hold a series of stalls and events at our City, Clifton and Brackenhurst campuses.

Through art, dancing, sport and food, Global Week connects and celebrates the different cultural heritages of the NTU community. It’s a chance for our staff and students to extend their international perspectives, and enjoy global experiences right here on campus.

The week will consist of a new regional theme every day: Asia and the Pacific, Africa, the UK and Europe, The Middle East, and the Americas and the Caribbean.

All the events and activities happening throughout the week are open to all NTU students and staff.

The catering outlets on campus, Dine Arkwright, Dine Brackenhurst and the Refectory at Clifton will also be serving delicious global cuisine throughout the week. Keep checking their menu and prices throughout the week at the outlets.

We love Global Week, and we want to let the world know about it. You can help us do this by sharing your posts from the week on Twitter and Instagram, using the #NTUGlobalWeek hashtag.

Just go and have a fun time, make sure you have a good look around.
